Gem of the Ocean's Sparkling Opening Night
August Wilson's Gem of the Ocean opened at the Walter Kerr Theatre on December 6, nearly a month later than was originally announced. The show was worth the wait! With the likes of Phylicia Rashad, John Earl Jelks, Anthony Chisholm, LisaGay Hamilton, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Eugene Lee and Raynor Scheine, Gem has audiences buzzing. After the opening night performance, the company headed to the Theatre District's Barbetta for an intimate and joyful party.
